Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea target summer swoop for Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie
Cherries star has been scouted by top clubs this season after making his mark in survival bid
TOTTENHAM manager Mauricio Pochettino is the latest Premier League boss keeping tabs on Bournemouth wide-man Matt Ritchie.
Scotland international Ritchie has been scouted by a host of England’s elite clubs this season including Manchester United and Chelsea.
Argentine Pochettino – renowned for his love of young British talent – is considering a summer swoop for the former Swindon and Portsmouth ace.
Ritchie only signed a new three-and-half-year contract with the Cherries in January last year but boss Eddie Howe would be reluctant to stand in his way if Spurs followed up their interest.
The midfielder, 26, has scored 30 goals in 123 league games since joining Bournemouth from Swindon in a bargain £400,000 deal three years ago.
Ritchie has been one of the Cherries’ stand-out performers this season.
