La Liga return: UK viewers to watch on TV for FREE with 32 DAYS of non-stop matches starting June 11

SPANISH football is returning with a bang with THIRTY-TWO days of consecutive live action.

And fans in the UK will get to watch all the thrills and spills for FREE.

La Liga chiefs hope the season will restart with the derby between Real Betis and Sevilla behind closed doors on June 11.

President Javier Tebas said the opening match could also feature a tribute to Covid-19 victims as football aims to return after a three-month shutdown.

Premier Sports, that broadcasts LaLiga, will show all games for free to Sky customers.

But it will also be free to view on the Premier Player App for everybody.

The top two leagues in Spain are training in small groups, with full squads allowed to train together from Monday.

Spain has been one of the worst-hit countries during the pandemic with more then 28,000 losing their lives.

Tebas said: ";There is the possibility of a game on June 11, which would be the only match that night and perhaps there will be a tribute to all the people who have died.

The proposed dates and times will be published officially in the coming days, once TV coverage has been agreed.

Tebas has been desperate to follow the Bundesliga's lead and resume the 2019-20 season.

All 20 teams have 11 games remaining, with Barcelona leading Real Madrid by two points at the top of the table.
