According to , the Spanish side's owner Peter Lim is preparing for changes at the Mestalla and is willing to let the 29-year-old leave.

Rodrigo's deal does contains a buyout clause of £110million, but Valencia may be forced to cash in for less than half that amount because of the current climate.

The striker, who can also operate outwide, could be allowed to leave for between £45m and £50m plus extras.

Rodrigo, who has scored five goals and registered 11 assists for Valencia this season, was linked with moves to Everton and West Ham last summer.

He was also rumoured to be one of the names Barcelona wanted to replace injured star Luis Suarez with earlier this year.

Meanwhile Arsenal are continuing to brace themselves for the Catalans and rivals Real Madrid to return for Aubameyang when the season finally finishes.

SunSport also revealed Manchester United are eyeing up a £50m swoop for the Gabon ace as he nears the end of his contract at the Emirates.

The 30-year-old is tied down at Arsenal until 2021, and it has been claimed that the Gunners have accepted the fact the striker will not sign a new contract with the club.

Arsenal could suffer a double blow this summer with Alexandre Lacazette also poised for a move away from the Emirates.

The French striker has been heavily linked with Atletico Madrid with Arsenal reportedly giving the 28-year-old the green light to let him leave.

SunSport previously reported that Mikel Arteta could also use Lacazette as a makeweight in a deal to bring Thomas Partey to the club.
