Champions League final 2020 ‘pencilled in’ for August 29 as Uefa plan showdown for when domestic football seasons finish
THE 2020 Champions League final has been "pencilled in" for August 29, with Uefa planning to complete the continental campaigns AFTER the domestic seasons are finished.
All football in Europe has ground to a halt due to the threat of coronavirus - with Uefa chiefs to meet next Thursday to decide how best to proceed.

Should football be given the green light to go ahead in the next month or two, Uefa are likely to complete the season as normal.
In that instance, the Champions League and Europa League - both stuck at the last-16 stage - would be played alongside normal domestic football.
However, should the Premier League and its European counterparts be forced to delay the season well into the summer, Uefa is set to prioritise league action.
It's expected there will be more concrete details released following April 23's meeting - with calling seasons off early a very real possibility.
However, should the seasons be allowed to finish, there are THREE different likely scenarios.
They include working out the tables based on points per game and by working it out using results from just the first-half of the season.
