Arsenal ‘happy to let Alexandre Lacazette leave in summer transfer’ with deal running down as Atletico Madrid circle
ATLETICO MADRID are ready to make their move for striker Alexandre Lacazette with Arsenal giving the green light to let him leave, according to reports.
The French striker has been a target of the Spanish side as they look to solve their goalscoring woes.
Diego Simeone’s side have scored just 31 league goals in 27 matches – the lowest in the top nine.

Lacazette, usually so prolific, has struggled this season for the Gunners after finding the net just seven times.
A lack of form saw him fall out of favour under boss Mikel Arteta and now the Spaniard is prepared to cash in as he looks to transform the squad.
, Atletico have him as their No1 target and believe they can land him if Arsenal slap a reasonable price-tag on his head.
The 28-year-old moves to the Emirates in 2017 in a £52million deal.
He has two years remaining on his current contract and has no plans at this moment to extend his deal.
Boss Arteta has already confirmed one or two players will need to leave if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
But any hope of Atletico pursuing a deal could hinge of whether they offload striker Diego Costa.
With the coronavirus putting the season on hold, many clubs including Atletico will be forced to tighten the purse strings.
Costa, 31, has struggled in Spain with just two league goals and is set for a £25m move to Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo.
