"EMBARRASING" Jack Grealish has been slammed by Jamie O'Hara for his "selfish" non-apology after crashing his £80,000 car following a 4am party.

SunSport told you yesterday how the Aston Villa star, 24, apparently went into three other cars after going to a bash - just hours after urging people to stay indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Grealish has since apologised for his "stupid" actions - which could cost him a life-changing £70million move to Manchester United and spot in the England side for the postponed Euros.

But it didn't wash with former Spurs star Jamie O'Hara.

The ex-Premier League midfielder, 33, slammed Grealish's actions on talkSPORT this morning.

O'Hara said: "I think it's completely idiotic behaviour from him and I'm really disappointed in him because I've been his biggest fan this season.

"I thought he was over all that stupidity that, when he was young, he found himself in.

"What I can't understand is his thought process in doing it. He's a role model, he's got the world at his feet.

"Jack should not be leaving his house. We all want to go out and enjoy ourselves - we can't. People are dying.

"People are working tirelessly hard to keep people alive, and you've got people like Jack Grealish, flouting the rules to go out and have a party. It's ridiculous.

"He's probably on £50, £60,000 a week. Go and sit in your nice, big house in Birmingham that you've probably got.

"His apology is embarrassing. He hasn't actually said sorry.

"He just said he's embarrassed. Of course you're embarrassed. You've embarrassed yourself because you've got caught.

"I just think it was a ridiculous statement to put out. A ridiculous act.

"And not once has he put in his apology or mentioned the NHS staff. Not once has he apologised to them, because they're the people that are suffering.

"It's a selfish statement."

Realising his stupidity, a tired and unshaven Grealish took to social media yesterday to post a message.

In the clip, he said: “Hi everybody, I just want to do a quick video message just to say how deeply embarrassed I am by about what’s happened this weekend.

“I know it’s a tough time for everyone at the moment, being locked indoors for so long and I obviously just got a call off a friend asking to go round to his — and I stupidly agreed to do so.

“I don’t want anyone to make the same mistake that I did, so I obviously urge everyone to stay at home and follow the rules and the guidelines we’ve been asked to do.

“I know for a fact that I’ll be doing that in the near future now and obviously, like I said, I urge everyone to do the same.

“I hope everyone can accept my apology and we can move on from this and hopefully obviously in the near future we can all be out enjoying ourselves again once this has all boiled over.

“Cheers guys, thank you.”

Villa confirmed the midfielder would be disciplined and fined, with the proceeds going to a Birmingham-based hospital charity. He could lose the captaincy.
