According to PFA staff are focusing on member welfare and have put the event to the back of their minds for now.
But the voting period is still live with the Association said to have reminded clubs to send back their completed paper forms just last week.
The event is due to take place on April 26 at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester — the first time it will be staged outside of London.
But despite public gatherings not yet being cancelled, there is a likely chance the PFA awards faces the axe with clubs fearing for players and staff catching the bug.
Prem stars are now being banned from commercial travel as airports and train stations are deemed a hotbed for the virus spreading.
Liverpool pair Henderson and Mane are competing to scoop the player of the year award, which team-mate Virgil van Dijk won last year.
The Premier League leaders faced fears the season would be declared null and void and despite being 25 points clear, Kop fans would be denied a first title in 30 years.
But Prem bosses are now set to meet on Thursday - and it is claimed there is little opposition to handing Liverpool the Premier League title.
