Hakim Ziyech hopes to convince new club Chelsea to sign Ajax keeper Andre Onana with Kepa future still in doubt

INCOMING Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech wants his new club to sign his Ajax pal Andre Onana as well, according to reports.

The Moroccan star, 26, will link up with the Blues in the summer after seeing out the rest of the season with the Dutch giants.

He arranged a deal to make the switch to Stamford Bridge in February in a £36.7million deal.

And according to the , he is desperate to see current team-mate Onana follow him to West London.

The 23-year-old keeper is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League - with either Chelsea or Tottenham thought to be his preferred destinations.

The Cameroon international would likely cost a potential suitor around £40m to 50m, with two years still to run on his current deal in Amsterdam.

He came through the youth ranks at Barcelona after being picked up by the Samuel Eto'o Foundation in his homeland.

Onana has kept 15 clean sheets in all competitions for Ajax so far this season.

And with Kepa Arrizabalaga's future still uncertain, Chelsea could be tempted to swoop for Onana.

The Spaniard was left out of the team for six matches after a number of errors and Willy Cabellero came in.

Kepa has now reclaimed his place in the side but Frank Lampard may still decide he wants to get rid of the world's most-expensive stopper.
