Jesse Lingard set to be sold by Man Utd this summer after ‘Solskjaer loses confidence in England star’
JESSE LINGARD is reportedly set to be sold by Manchester United this summer after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Goal claim the England international has lost the confidence of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and new agent Mino Raiola is set to facilitate his transfer away from the club.
The 27-year-old has lost his place in the Red Devils starting line-up following the £67million arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January.
That has meant Lingard has been reduced to appearances in the FA Cup and Europa League of late and has managed just two goals in 35 games.

Yet his decision to recruit Paul Pogba's super-agent Raiola means he will likely still secure a lucrative move at the end of the season.
Lingard, who has been at United since he was seven, only has twelve months remaining on the £85,000-a-week deal he signed in 2017.
And he has been tipped to make way for Solskjaer to bring in at least one of Jadon Sancho, Jack Grealish and James Maddison in the summer.
Lingard has already been linked with an incredible £45m swap deal to bring Leicester ace Maddison to Old Trafford.
While his sale would help raise funds for Solskjaer's planned rebuild at the end of the season, after the Norwegian claimed United are only a few transfers away from a title challenge.
Speaking after the 2-0 win over City on Sunday, he said: “For me it shows we are on the right track and improving and we are Manchester United and looking to catch the teams in front of us.
“We feel we are improving all the time.
“We know we lack one, two, three players to be considered a title contender and some experience and we know that. We are just going to start talking about going up the table, getting more points.”
