Of the 20 top-flight teams, eight are in action this weekend including champions Manchester City.

But for the rest, including United, Chelsea, Arsenal and champions-elect Liverpool do not play in the league until the following weekend.

Players such as Callum Hudson-Odoi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lucas Torreira have been spotted sunning themselves in far-flung locations this week.

But some stars are not so lucky... and are already back to work just days after their last Premier League action.

United stars Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are all training at the sprawling Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.

Now Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley and Arsenal's Kieran Tierney, Sead Kolasinac and Riess Nelson have also been snapped in the popular training haunt.

The complex has become the go-to venue for clubs and athletes looking for some winter sun.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a regular visitor, as is Patrice Evra, while Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain, Virgil van Dijk, Novak Djokovic and Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford have all used the facilities.
