West Brom looking to make Grady Diangana’s stunning loan transfer permanent in £10m deal with West Ham
WEST BROM want to buy flying winger Grady Diangana from West Ham in a £10million deal.
Diangana has dazzled in a loan spell but now Slaven Bilic wants to tie him down permanently as he aims for promotion.
Hammers are willing to sell their prospect at the right price to raise funds and the Baggies are first in the queue to land him.
The 21-year-old has scored five times as West Brom sit second in the league, although they haven't won any of their last seven league games.
They've accumulated just three points from their last five matches.
Diangana has missed the last two matches through injury and will be keen to return in a bid to help turn around the club's form.
The poor run has seen them be replaced by Leeds United at the top of the table and Nottingham Forest are only two points behind in third.
A poor result on Saturday could see them drop out of the top two for the first time since September.
The Baggies had gone on a 14-match unbeaten run but since then, their form has dropped dramatically.
They host bottom of the table Luton Town on Saturday, which would present a great opportunity to return to winning ways.
Bilic has just sealed a deal for Callum Robinson from Sheffield United but wants to strengthen his attack even more.
West Brom have also made an inquiry for winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, but QPR are reluctant to let him go unless the offer is huge.
Burnley also watched Osayi-Samuel in midweek, but boss Mark Warburton is hopeful he can keep his stars for the season.
Warburton joked: "My phone has been off since the start of the window."
