Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under less pressure at Man Utd thanks to clause in Pochettino’s Tottenham exit package
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER is unlikely to be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino this season due to a clause in the Argentinian's exit package from Tottenham.
Spurs' settlement means the North London club could be due up to £10million in compensation if Pochettino were to take over at Manchester United before the end of the season, reports.
Pressure is mounting on the United boss after run of poor results that saw Burnley win at Old Trafford for the first time in 58 years in their last Premier League outing.
Fans are planning a mass walk-out during their next league game against Wolves on Saturday evening as concerns over the direction of the club as well as the leadership of the Glazer family mount up.
However, Solskjaer is thought to have been assured of his place at least until the end of the campaign.

Solskjaer wants years rather than months to construct a side, something he believes other managers at the top of the Premier League have been afforded.
Comparing himself with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, he said: "We do have a way of doing things, of course.
"You can see other teams have done well. Jurgen spent four years building his team, and they're going well now."
United's executive vice chairman Ed Woodward and the club's American owners want to give the former Cardiff boss time to turn things around after he was given the job on a permanent basis in March 2019.
Woodward is in the firing line for United supporters unhappy at the club's transfer dealings and was targeted by a gang of furious fans who launched a smoke bomb and fireworks at his home last night.
A source told The Sun: "We didn’t get to speak to Woodward but hopefully he’ll get the message because we’re not going away and we won’t stand around doing nothing while our club is ruined."
A club statement said after the attack on Woodward's £2million Cheshire mansion: "Fans expressing opinion is one thing, criminal damage and intent to endanger life is another. There is simply no excuse for this."
Despite the unrest, United look to have finally sealed a deal for Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes after a drawn out transfer saga.
United upped their original bid by £4m to £55m including bonuses, after late interest from Barcelona, to land the 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder.
The club's recruitment policy has been slammed since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson with a number of big money signings failing to deliver on the pitch.
