Chelsea make Brazil striker Gabriel Barbosa ‘top January transfer target’ with West Ham also keen on £20m Inter ace
CHELSEA have made Gabriel Barbosa their top January transfer target, according to reports.
The Blues are free to make signings again this month after their transfer ban was lifted.
Frank Lampard has prioritised signing a striker - ahead of the likes of Jadon Sancho - and it is thought the Brazilian frontman is high on his wish list.
According to the , Chelsea are desperate to land Barbosa from Inter Milan.
And they could help seal a deal by allowing Olivier Giroud to join the San Siro club as part of the transfer with the Frenchman wanted by Inter boss Antonio Conte.

Barbosa, 23, scored both Flamengo goals in the Copa Libertadores final earlier this season and bagged 70 goals in 112 appearances in Brazil's top flight.
The striker signed for Inter in 2016 but has been shipped out on loan three times, returning to Inter at the end of 2019.
But with £150m at his disposal, Lampard could go after Barbosa - who is expected to cost around £20m.
Tammy Abraham has been in red-hot form in his first season as a first-team regular at Chelsea.
But both back-up strikers, Giroud and Michy Batshuayi, could leave Stamford Bridge during this transfer window.
However, Chelsea are expected to face competition from West Ham in their pursuit of Barbosa.
David Moyes is aware he needs more attacking threat, with Sebastian Haller his only real option up front.
