Man Utd tell Nemanja Matic and Marcos Rojo they can leave this transfer window with NO future at club
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly told Nemanja Matic and Marcos Rojo they are free to leave this month.
The Daily Star claims the pair have been informed they have no future at the Theatre of Dreams.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is actively looking to sell them to raise funds for new signings.
It’s said that Matic, 31, is attracting interest from two unnamed Premier League clubs after playing just nine times this season.
And Rojo, 29, could be set for a money-spinning move abroad after also just featuring nine times in the current campaign.
Offloading the unwanted duo would provide a transfer cash injection for Solskjaer, who may be tempted to bring in reinforcements before the end of the winter transfer window.
Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes is said to be a £34million target.
And former defender Rio Ferdinand has urged United to splash out on FOUR big-name signings including Edinson Cavani and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Meanwhile, SunSport exclusively told you that Paul Pogba’s Old Trafford career has come to an end.
And we can now reveal that United are hopeful of securing a deal for Toni Kroos should Real Madrid come in for long-term target Pogba.
