Man Utd ‘willing to sign off Paul Pogba transfer to Real Madrid for £85m plus Brazilian starlet Vinicius Jr’

MANCHESTER UNITED are willing to hear out a mega player-plus-cash offer from Real Madrid for Paul Pogba, according to reports in Spain.

Los Blancos are said to be weighing up a bid for Pogba containing the Brazilian starlet and £85million.

A major switch to La Liga for Pogba was touted throughout the summer with Real coach Zinedine Zidane not trying too hard to conceal his desire for a deal.

And now talk of a fresh approach in January.

If United are happy to cut a cash-only deal then Real will offer £160m – with Vinicius and £85m on offer if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to take the opportunity to renew his attack.

Pogba only returned to the team for the defeat at Watford last weekend after weeks out with an ankle injury.

A forward is likely high on the Old Trafford agenda when the market opens, the Red Devils linked with  RB Salzburg teenager Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.

However Borussia Dortmund star Sancho is a target for Madrid, according to the same Spanish outlet.

Real bosses are growing fed up with Vinicius’ paltry goal tally of just two in 15 games this season, moving them towards £113m replacement Sancho.

Plenty of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool, are thought to be monitoring the England ace’s future.

Real went into the Christmas break second in La Liga and two points off Barcelona having drawn 0-0 at home to Athletic Club.

Vinicius, 19, spurned chances in a rare start for Los Blancos at the Bernabeu.

It meant that, after 37 outings in league and Europe, he has notched just three goals to put himself firmly in the shadow of fellow Brazilian talent Rodrygo Goes.
