‘Removal van’ spotted outside Mikel Arteta’s house as incoming Arsenal manager prepares to quit Man City for Gunners job
MIKEL ARTETA'S move to Arsenal appears to be very close after a "removal van" was spotted outside his home in the north-west.
The Manchester City assistant has been in talks with the Gunners all week about taking over at the Emirates.
According to onlookers on social media, the van appeared to be helping move the Spaniard's belongings.
Arteta's house has already been the focus of attention during the rumours after Arsenal managing director Vinai Venkatesham and lawyer Huss Fahmy were seen leaving after negotiations late on Sunday night.
Just before the latest image emerged online on Thursday, the Premier League club delayed the weekly press conference of interim boss Freddie Ljungberg.
The Swede will now face journalists on Friday with the situation potentially clearer by then.
Reports suggest a £5million, three-and-a-half-year deal has been agreed between Arteta and Arsenal.
An official announcement of his appointment on Thursday is thought to be unlikely.
