Under-pressure Arsenal boss Unai Emery now favourite for sack race after Mauricio Pochettino axing at Spurs

UNAI EMERY is now the bookies favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.

It comes after Tottenham last night axed Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, and brought in ex-Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho as replacement.

Now under-pressure Emery is the favourite to follow Poch out of North London, according to Ladbrokes.

The Spaniard - who has managed just four wins in 12 league games this season - is 5/4 to be fired.

SunSport revealed Gunners bosses will give Emery until the new year to turn the club’s form around, as they sit sixth, eight points adrift of Champions League football.

Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl is just behind, with odds of 11/5 to be sacked.

The Saints are just a point above Norwich at rock bottom, managing only two wins so far this term.
