MANCHESTER UNITED wantaway Paul Pogba would prefer a move back to Juventus over Real Madrid, according to reports.
And the Old Lady are ready to sweeten Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Red Devils by selling them veteran striker Mario Mandzukic in January.
Juve are plotting to make another audacious attempt for the Frenchman who left them for Old Trafford in 2016 for £89million.
claim that club chiefs will discuss a potential summer move for Pogba when they meet to finalise Mandzukic's move.
It appears almost certain that United will land the Croatian when the market opens at the turn of the year.
A January move for Pogba appears highly unlikely but they are set to begin serious discussions within the next couple of weeks to angle a summer transfer.
Juventus face serious competition with Real Madrid for his signature but have been given assurances that a move to Italy would be his priority.
Pogba, 26, sparked talk of a return to Turin after posing for a photo with former team-mate Juan Cuadrado.
The duo have remained close friends following their time together at the Italian champions from 2015.
