Bellerin’s agent reveals Italy transfer interest – but Arsenal star will wait to see how difficult season pans out
A MOVE to Serie A could be on the cards for Hector Bellerin after his agent revealed "interest" from an Italian club.
What's more, Alberto Botines did not rule out the possibility of the Arsenal defender considering an offer.
The agent intimated Bellerin will re-assess his future if the Gunners cannot match his ambition at the end of the season.
Yet any move "won't be easy" because Arsenal will no doubt be intent on getting a big fee if they cannot persuade him to stick around.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, Botines said: “At the moment, he’s focused on his team's commitments.
“He comes from a bad injury and is returning to his usual level.
"He likes Italy, there’s already been interest from an Italian club but I can’t reveal who.
“He has a long contract and it won’t be easy to take him away from Arsenal - he’s their vice-captain.
“We’ll see how the season goes.”
A four-game winless run has dropped the Gunners to sixth in the Premier League to increase the pressure on coach Unai Emery.

Reports suggest Arsenal have no intention of sacking the Spaniard who has only had Bellerin fit for a few weeks of this season.
After ten months out with a cruciate ligament rupture, the 24-year-old eased into action with a handful of cup games before a Prem return in the defeat at Leicester.
Botines also told Sky that his client Gerard Deulofeu "has strong ties" to AC Milan, opening the door to the Watford star returning "one day".
