NEIL WARNOCK wants to form an elderly dream team at Hearts by taking the manager job with ex-England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson coming in as sporting director, according to reports.
Warnock, 70, stepped down as Cardiff boss earlier this week but is said to be keen on the vacant Tynecastle post.
If he were to team up with Eriksson then the two men would form a partnership with a combined age of 141.
Eriksson, who has been snubbed by the FA for England’s 1,000th game, was last in work for the Philippines national team but left in February.

“It was unheard of, wasn’t it? It would be nice to get something like that going.
“You’d have to do it on team spirit and togetherness and all that because the money isn’t there for Hearts and Hibs to compete with the two Glasgow clubs, really.”
Warnock has plenty of experience down south having manged the likes of Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, QPR, Leeds and Huddersfield.
