Euro 2020 qualifying group tables: What do teams need to do to secure spot at next year’s finals?
With the Euro 2020 qualifiers coming to a close, 20 teams will have booked their place at the finals next year by Tuesday.
Uefa have decided the top two in each group will qualify by right, leaving four places to be filled by the Nations League play-offs in March.
GROUP A: England will qualify as group winners by beating Montenegro tonight and still go through with a draw. Even if they lose, a draw in Kosovo on Sunday will be enough.
Victory for the Czech Republic over Kosovo will guarantee qualification.
GROUP B: Ukraine have already booked their passage as group winners.
Portugal, who face Lithuania then Luxembourg, lead Serbia by a point in their bid for the runners-up slot.
GROUP C: Northern Ireland, three points adrift of Holland and Germany, play both — and even two wins would probably not be enough on the head-to-head rule.
However, they are almost nailed-on for the Nations League play-offs.
GROUP D: Republic of Ireland are top and victory at home to Denmark on Monday night will get them through.
Anything else and the Danes would join Switzerland — expected to take maximum points off Gibraltar and Georgia — in the hat in Bucharest at the end of the month.
GROUP E: Wales go into the final two games in fourth but back-to-back wins over Azerbaijan and Hungary would suffice.
That is unless Slovakia shock Croatia away on Saturday. Croatia will qualify as group winners with only a draw.

GROUP F: Spain are safe already and Sweden will join them with a victory in Romania tomorrow.
Even a home win would see Romania needing to beat Spain — Sweden’s last match is against the Faroe Islands.
GROUP G: Poland have booked their place — as will Austria if they get two points from their games with North Macedonia and Latvia.
The Macedonians, Slovenia and Israel need miracles to snatch second.
GROUP H: Turkey and France can clinch their passages this evening.
The Turks need only a home draw with Iceland, while France will expect to put Moldova away.
Even an Iceland win would leave them hoping Andorra beat Turkey.
GROUP I: Belgium and Russia are through. Scotland’s focus has long been on March’s play-offs.
GROUP J: Italy have qualified with ease. Finland will reach a major finals for the first time if they beat Liechtenstein.
