OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has instructed the Manchester United hierarchy to go all out to sign Erling Haaland but set a price limit for buying the striker, according to reports.
The 19-year-old Red Bull Salzburg striker setting Europe alight has an £85million price tag on his head.
And it has been that the Old Trafford boss is now ready to force through a move after signalling to chiefs how much he is ready to pay.
Haaland, who played under Solskjaer at Molde, has the Champions League theme tune as his morning alarm after becoming top scorer in the competition with seven goals.
And 26 goals in 18 games in all competitions has alerted Europe's biggest clubs.
Solskjaer is now said to be ready to act after instructing the money men at United how much they should splash out.
Ole has been urged to sign another attacking threat after letting Alexis Sanchez leave on loan and Romelu Lukaku sign permanently for Inter Milan.
The add that the wheels are now in motion for United to submit an official offer.
But Haaland has refused to be drawn on a move.
Asked on his interest in going to United, Juventus or Real Madrid, Haaland said: "You know my answer. No comment."
Pressed further on the prospect of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin, he replied: "No comment."

Despite Haaland's words, United have received a boost in their bid to sign Haaland after Barcelona pulled out of the running.
Barca have already spent big on the likes of £107.6m striker Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid and £67m Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Haaland is under contract until 2023 and the Austrian side are convinced they can get big money for their star man.
