Man City ace John Stones has tattoo of ex-girlfriend Millie Savage removed after moving on with beautician Olivia Naylor
MANCHESTER CITY star John Stones is erasing all trace of his relationship with his former childhood sweetheart - by having a tattoo of her removed.
The England defender had an image of Millie Savage inked on his arm along with a rose in a show of affection.
Stones, 25, splashed out on the inking of her face after being accused of cheating on her with events organiser Jessica Peaty around the time he moved from Everton to City for £50million in 2016.
Peaty had claimed Stones told her he had split from his partner - but the Premier League ace denied the affair and 24 hours later had the tattoo of Millie, 24, etched on to his arm.
He and Millie - who have a young daughter - split last November having been together since the age of 14.
Stones walked out of the £6m mansion they shared when she brought up the subject of marriage.
At the time Millie said: "We were a very private couple and didn’t want to be in the limelight. I didn’t want other people to know.
“There isn’t anyone else involved.”
Stones moved into a flat, and since then has gone on to start dating beautician and mum-of-one Olivia Naylor, 30.
The pair are said to have met through mutual friends on a night out in Manchester.
Now the defender is undergoing work to remove the tattoo from his arm for good as he continues to negotiate a settlement with his former flame.
A source said: “John has been having a lot of work on his Millie tattoo for the past year or so.
"He’s trying to have it erased because as far as he is concerned, there is no going back between them.

"Millie is in the past and he doesn’t want a reminder of her every time he looks down at his arm."
Tattoos can be removed user lasers which target the pigment in the skin, breaking it down into minuscule particles which your body can then eliminate through its natural waste system.
Removal is usually spread across eight sessions over 18 months to allow the skin to heal between sessions.
A representative for Stones was contacted prior to publication.
