Man Utd urgently need Pogba back, he’s got as many assists as Fred, Pereira & McTominay combined despite six games out
MANCHESTER UNITED desperately need Paul Pogba back in the team if they want to put an end to their attacking woes.
United have scored just 13 goals from 11 Premier League games this season and Pogba's midfield replacements are seemingly to blame.
The Frenchman has only played in five of United's Prem games this campaign and stats revealed today show this might explain their bluntness in front of goal.
World Cup winner Pogba has notched two assists and created 13 chances in that time while his midfield replacements have got nowhere near those stats.
In fact they have the same amount of assists combined as the Frenchman has managed in less than half the games.
Scott McTominay has played in every one of the Red Devils' League games this season managing just one assist and creating only seven chances.
Fellow centre midfielder Fred's numbers make for the worst reading with the Brazilian creating just six chances and failing to register a single assist.
Only Andreas Pereira's creative stats come close to Pogba's with one assist and 12 chances created.
But the 23-year-old took twice as many games (10) to hit those tallies.
