Liverpool 5 Arsenal 5: Curtis Jones scores winning penalty in pre-Halloween thriller as Willock and Ox net screamers

ARSENAL blew a golden chance to win at the home of the European champions — as Dani Ceballos' spot-kick was saved and Curtis Jones, 18, bagged the winning kick.

Two rockets from the crypt from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Willock made this a pre-Halloween hair-raiser.

But Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Willock thought they had bagged victory on Merseyside before Origi came to the rescue, just as he did in the Champions League final.

Then Origi made it 4-4 — just like THAT Andrei Arshavin draw a decade ago.

But Willock had other plans.

His sprint from the centre circle and strike from too far out left rookie keeper Caoimhin Kelleher waving at thin air as the ball rippled the onion bag.

It was the second time in 66 YEARS Liverpool had conceded five at home and the other was a 2007 6-3 League Cup defeat... to Arsenal.

As injury time kicked in Emery thought they had it won.
