SPURS are reportedly keen on signing Real Madrid ace Isco as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.
claims Mauricio Pochettino will target the 27-year-old playmaker if Eriksen decides against renewing his contract.
The Denmark international, also 27, has been offered a new five-year deal worth £60million to stay in North London.
But Eriksen is believed to be keen on a fresh challenge after entering his seventh season at Spurs.
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is understood to be preparing an approach for the midfielder in January.
While Bayern Munich apparently made contact with Eriksen’s representatives just days after thrashing Tottenham 7-2 in the Champions League.
Reports say Spurs have already sought out Sporting Lisbon’s £65million-rated Bruno Fernandes as a replacement.
But it has now been claimed Pochettino will instead move for Isco, who has scored 35 goals in 187 games for Madrid, should the Spaniard be available.
The versatile ace has made just three appearances under Zinedine Zidane this season.
And Isco could be tempted by the chance to play in the Premier League after spending his entire career in Spain.

But a lot could depend on who will be in charge of Spurs when Eriksen decides to quit.
North London chiefs are believed to have made contact with Jose Mourinho.
And the merry-go-round could continue with Poch being linked with the Special One’s old job at Manchester United.
