ANTHONY MARTIAL is expected to be fit for Manchester United's Premier League clash against Liverpool.
The French forward, 23, will step up his return from a thigh injury that has kept him out since August.
United have struggled to find the back of the net in his absence, bagging just five goals in eight games.
There could not be a bigger occasion for him to return either, with European champions and bitter rivals Liverpool looking to win their 18th Premier League game in a row.
Victory would equal Manchester City's winning streak from 2017-18 and nothing could be sweeter for Jurgen Klopp's side than to do so at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are facing a crisis after the manager's win rate fell from 82.4 per cent to 21.7 per cent since their unlikely March victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
He has been unlucky with injuries in recent weeks, with knocks to Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw, as well as Martial.
Victor Lindelof has also been given the green light by Sweden's coach after picking up a knock on international duty.

It was also revealed that, despite an incredible amount of stick, Marcus Rashford has a better scoring record than Kylian Mbappe this season.
The United forward has a better minutes-per-goal ratio than that of the PSG star, who has been tipped to rival Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as one of world football's hottest talents.
Should the Red Devils lose against their fierce rivals they could sink into the relegation zone for the first time in decades.
