Arsenal fans find video of Gabriel Martinelli on failed Man Utd trial as they claim to have stolen ‘Cristiano Ronaldo 2.0′ from under rivals’ noses

ARSENAL fans have unearthed a video of Gabriel Martinelli having a failed trial at Manchester United.

And Gunners supporters reckon they have unearthed the new Cristiano Ronaldo after Martinelli’s impressive performances this season.

The Brazil ace linked up with Unai Emery’s side from Ituano FC over the summer.

And he has scored twice in just two games, with Arsenal fans delighted they finally trumped United in the transfer market.

The Gunners famously tried to land Portuguese ace Ronaldo in 2003 before United hijacked the deal.

And they believe the Red Devils will rue their missed opportunity to sign Martinelli when he was on trial at the club.

The video shows the striker getting off a bus for a match against Lincoln City's Under 18s two years ago.

Martinelli came off the bench during the game but did little to impress United, and was duly sent packing back to former club Corinthians.

Arsenal fans are delighted with how things have turned out though, with one writing online: “This makes it all the more sweeter.”
