MOUSSA SISSOKO has signed a new contract at Tottenham until 2023.
The French international has put pen to paper on a deal that keeps him with the club until he is 34.
And the North Londoners officially confirmed the two-year-extension this afternoon.
The 30-year-old's new contract was announced with a video on their Twitter captioned "Ohh @MoussaSissoko. 2023. #THFC #COYS", in homage to the song sung by Spurs fans.
Tottenham signed the midfielder from Newcastle for £30million in August 2016 on a five-year, £80k-a-week deal until 2021.
The news puts an end to speculation linking Sissoko away from the club as stories of a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce refused to go away.
Spurs have had a shaky start to the season - including an embarrassing exit from the League Cup on Tuesday at the hands of League Two Colchester United.
And the ex-Newcastle midfielder has featured in all six of Spurs' Premier League games this season and came on for 28 minutes at the end of their Champions League game at Olympiakos - where the North Londoners threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2.
Despite his heavy involvement so far this season, as recently as May Sissoko claimed he had "no idea" where his future laid.
Having been asked about his situation, he told French TV: "Today I feel good over there. This year everything is going well for me.
"I am still under contract with them so all is good. But as he [Spurs right-back Serge Aurier] said, and you know it better than me, anything can happen in football very quickly."
And asked if his future was linked to Pochettino remaining in charge, Sissoko said: "Not necessarily. I don’t know.

"At the end of the season, it could be that they have a new project, that a new coach comes, and he doesn’t count on me - he wants to sell me.
"Many different things could happen."
Arguably Sissoko's most notable moment in his Spurs career was his handball just moments into his side's 2019 Champions League final defeat to Liverpool in May which gave the Reds a penalty for Mo Salah to smash home.
