Shkodran Mustafi sends hilarious sarcastic response to Arsenal fan after keeping two clean sheets in row
SHKODRAN MUSTAFI provided a witty response to a troll who pointed the finger at him for keeping two clean sheets.
Mustafi played in the Gunners' superb 3-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt last Thursday, before he had 90 minutes in the 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Mustafi was not, however, in the squad to the North London club's thrilling 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
When Arsenal fan @Adewuyi_shola tweeted: "I hate to say but @MustafiOfficial has played 2 games and kept 2 clean sheet."
Some say sarcasm is the lowest form of wit — but the German was happy to lay it on thick after being trolled many-a-time in recent months.
He tweeted: "Sorry for keeping 2 clean sheets."
Mustafi has fallen down the pecking order big time this season, after the return of Calum Chambers and the signing of David Luiz.
SORRY NOT SORRY
Not that those signings have plugged the gaps at the back, with Unai Emery's side conceding 10 goals in all competitions this term.
Particularly in their games against Tottenham, Watford and Villa, the Gunners' back line has looked susceptible to folding when they were defending leads.
ARSENAL NEWS
It was also revealed that Arsenal are more prone than any other team in the Premier League to conceding goals after making errors.
Not that Mustafi has been involved in the Tottenham, Watford or Villa games.
His form has been limited to the Europa League, Carabao Cup and being nutmegged by new boy Kieran Tierney in training.
