Olympic hero Bradley Wiggins unrecognisable with hench muscles and tattoos – as fans mistake him for Conor McGregor
SIR BRADLEY WIGGINS left fans with their jaws on the floor after showing off his hench muscles in a topless Instagram post.
The five-time Olympic gold medallist, 41, had enjoyed a run under the sun after arriving for the Tour de France.
Posting a pair of snaps of himself in just a pair of yellow shorts and trainers, Wiggins captioned the pic: "Isolation in France!"
However his 391,000 followers were not particularly concerned about his opinions on the unfolding Tour.
Fellow cyclist Adam Blythe replied: "Never skip leg day. 😂😂"
One asked: "Is that Conor McGregor?"
Another joked: "Breathe out before your head pops lad."
And one cheeky follower remarked: "Ran so fast your shirt evaporated."

While Instagram user Simon commented: "Can’t wait for you to fight Dustin Poirier next Saturday."
Wiggins shot to fame by winning gold at each of the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, particularly in the time trial at London 2012.
That year, he also picked up the Tour de France title with a frame some way off his current plethora of upper-body muscles and tattoos.
Wiggins retired in 2016 and has recently been working as a pundit on Eurosport.
