ENGLAND have set India 245 to win the Fourth Test after being quickly bowled out for 271 this morning.
Stuart Broad fell from the first ball of the day - caught behind off Mohammed Shami - before Sam Curran was then run-out on a horror start to day four.
Curran fell four short of another Test 50 for England, with the game now evenly poised with well over five sessions to play.
Joe Root and Co would have hoped to have increased their lead to at least 260 at the Ageas Bowl.
But England mustered just 11 more runs on day four - losing both of their wickets within the first 20 minutes of play.
Firstly Broad nicked Shami behind from the very first ball of the day in the worst start imaginable.
Then Curran was run out agonisingly short of another Test half-century attempting a quick too.
England will now need a hot start with the ball to avoid throwing away a 2-0 series lead.
Should the hosts lose, the five-match series will then go to a decider at The Oval - starting on Friday September 7.
As well as the ever-important wicket of Virat Kohli, England will aim to target Che Pujara early, as the No3 scored a phenomenal, unbeaten century in the first innings.
