A SCHOOLBOY cricketer has died after an angry batsman hit him with a stump
The fielder, 14, collapsed in pain with neck injuries during the friendly match in Bangladesh when the batsman was given out and reacted by hurling the stump.
Police say the batsman will be prosecuted for causing unintentional death.

He lost his temper in a game between neighbouring teams in south-eastern port city Chittagong.
Assistant police commissioner Jahangir Alam told the : 'The batsman was furious when he saw that he was stumped or bowled out.
"He grabbed a stump and threw it in the air. The stump hit part of the neck and head of Faisal who was fielding close to the wicket.
"He collapsed on the ground in pain and was declared dead after he was taken to a hospital."
Cricket is taken so seriously in Bangladesh that heated clashes are common even at village level.
Just last May a batsman with a stump allegedly beat a 16-year-old rival to death in Dhaka after the teenager taunted the umpire over a no-ball.
