Former Australian cricket ace Shane Warne shares snaps of disastrous first day at £8,000 buy-in World Series of Poker
Aussie posts photos of his latest round in the gambling tournament in Las Vegas with things quickly turning sour
SHANE WARNE had a night to forget in the latest instalment of the 2016 World Series of Poker.
The Australian former cricket star, 46, seemed to have a poor showing in Las Vegas after blowing his £8,000 buy-in.
Warne kicked off proceedings by sharing a snap of his tournament buy-in receipt, clearly showing his name and the fact it set him back $10,000.
And following pics of the Aussie trudging around the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino with an e-cigarette in his mouth, Warne is caught forgetting his poker face at the table...
While the key to poker seems to be never letting the table read your emotion, it was clearly all too much for the former spin king, as he he pictured looking glum while fiddling with his chips.

"Having @RealKidPoker makes for an interesting dynamic at the table. FYI Played 2 crap hands."
And Warne was itching for a break in proceedings by lunch having lost an outrageous £20,000 in chips.
He tweeted: "Dinner break in 6 mins at the #WSOP. Can't come quick enough, as I'm hungry & have had a bad level, lost 25k in chips, have 43k."
Warne will aim to get back on track on Tuesday for day two of the tournament in Nevada.
