'TOM BUM'

Tyson Fury should be ashamed of himself for ‘joke’ fight with ‘bum’ Tom Schwarz, blasts Dillian Whyte

DILLIAN WHYTE claimed Tyson Fury should be ashamed of himself for fighting no-hopers after he destroyed Tom Schwarz.

Fury demolished German Schwarz in two rounds as he celebrated his Las Vegas debut in style.

But British fighter Whyte is still fuming at the way the Gypsy King ducked a fight with him to instead choose an easy contest against a boxer who was not in the same league.

Seconds after Fury had sealed his win, Whyte took to Twitter and wrote: “Can’t believe I stayed [up] to watch that joke of a fight.

Tyson Fury should be ashamed of himself, running away from me and fighting these chumps.

“My mother would have knocked out Tom the bum in a round.”

Whyte, 31, has seen his hopes of challenging for a world title thwarted with Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua opting not to face him.

RINGWALK

The Brixton fighter is ranked second in the world by the IBO while there had been talk the WBC would order Fury to fight him for the right to challenge their champion Wilder.

But Fury decided against the bout and Whyte is still waiting for his chance to take on the biggest names at the top of the heavyweight division.

The 30-year-old put on a show for the American public in the first fight of his £80million Top Rank deal, entering the ring with a top hat, robe and shorts adorned with the Stars and Stripes in a nod to the Apollo Creed ringwalk in the film Rocky IV.

Schwarz came out attempting to throw bombs, and the Manchester fighter gave a glimpse of his skills with brilliant movement to dodge a seven-punch combination leading to him being described as “the English Ali” by commentators.

Having turned on the style to dispatch his opponent with ease, Fury then grabbed the microphone inside the ring to serenade his wife Paris with Aerosmith’s ‘I don’t want to miss a thing’.

He then revealed he will return to America in the autumn for another bout, before getting his long-awaited re-match with Wilder in 2020.
