Tyson Fury warned not to wear tiny pants during public workout over fears of indecent exposure
TYSON FURY revealed he was forced to ditch his usual routine of training in his pants for fears of “indecent exposure” during his open workout this week.
Since Fury’s comeback to the ring last year he has regular trained both publicly and privately in his pants - to help raise awareness of the “Oddballs” charity for testicular cancer.
But in the build-up to his fight with Tom Schwarz on Saturday the Brit had had to put some shorts on for his public workouts.
Speaking to BT Sports, Fury explained his US promotion Top Rank warned him not to wear just his underpants, fearing he could “slip up”.
Fury said: “I always train in underpants, every session I ever do, I’ve got me pants on.
“I wear these funky shorts in public a lot and I wore them today because they represent a company called Oddballs.
“Every penny spent on these pants goes to research to fight testicular cancer. A friend of mine went through it recently, and I want to spread awareness for him and this cause.”
Trainer Ben Davison added: “But Top Rank are a bit like, ‘look you know, if there was a little bit of indecent exposure - something could happen’.
“So they’re a little bit worried about it but we’re just going to play it by ear and see how it goes.
“They’re just a little bit worried that something might - slip up.”
