TYSON FURY has confirmed "something has gone wrong" with his Twitter account after he lost around a million followers in a single day.

The Gypsy King, 30, saw his followers drop from around the one million mark to 191,000 at the time of writing in a bizarre twist.

Supporters of "The People's Champ" are certain he's been hacked and not suddenly fallen out of favour ahead of his fight with Tom Schwarz this weekend.

One fan claimed he was forced to "re-follow" Fury again - suggesting the boxing star really has been hacked.

The Twitter user wrote: "Looks like hes been hacked i had to refollow him too."

But another joked: "AJ fans hacked him trying to get inside his head before Saturday."

A third added: "@TwitterAPI - why was my account and so many others made to unfollow @Tyson_Fury. Was my account hacked?"

Addressing the social media mishap, Fury said: "Yes something has gone wrong with my twitter and we're working to fix it."

Here's how Twitter reacted to Fury's massive drop in followers...

Last week, Fury called Anthony Joshua a "disgrace" for losing to Andy Ruiz Jr in New York - saying he should "never show his face in public again".

The Gypsy King claimed: “He’ll never live it down, can you imagine?

“You’re built like an Adonis, you’re 6ft 6ins, you’re ripped, carved in stone, and a little fat man who has eaten every Snickers and Mars bar in California comes in there and bladders you all over?

"What a disgrace. If that was me, I would never show my face in public ever again.”
