Pacquiao hasn't fought since January, when he beat Adrien Broner via unanimous decision to retain his WBA welterweight title.

Should the clash with Spence not go ahead, the Filipino's best options would appear to be Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter or Terence Crawford.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Pacquiao revealed he would be open to a rematch with Floyd Mayweather. after their enthralling 2015 bout, won by the American.

Pacman claimed: “The negotiations are ongoing. There will be updates one to two weeks from now."
