Joshua and Wilder on the brink of agreeing £60m two-fight deal after DAZN breakthrough

Heavyweight world champions  have struggled to agree terms on a unification bout for months

DEONTAY WILDER has reportedly been offered a £75million DAZN deal – including two fights against Anthony Joshua.

The WBC champion and his team met with AJ’s American broadcasters on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of working together.

And Fox Sports are claiming Wilder has been offered around £15m to face Dominic Breazeale, with another £60m for a double-header against AJ.

The Bronze Bomber’s co-manager Shelly Finkel has confirmed the money is “in that ballpark.”

DAZN’s head of broadcasting John Skipper is the middleman heading up the negotiations that could finally see Joshua and Wilder square off.

Joshua defends his world titles against American Jarrell Miller on June 1 at Madison Square Garden.

Fury, who was unlucky not to have been given the verdict against Wilder in December, signed an £80m deal with ESPN in the US – who have subsequently ordered him to take an interim fight.

Negotiations between the two camps had previously flopped, leaving The Bronze Bomber not willing to work with AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn.

If Joshua were able to take the unified crown, it would set up a potential all-British blockbuster against Fury.
