Tyson Fury reveals incredible text conversation with Eddie Hearn about fighting AJ
Gypsy King has lifted the lid on the potential all-British fight, while revealing a major setback in his bid for a Wilder rematch
TYSON FURY has revealed the incredible text conversation he had with Eddie Hearn about fighting Anthony Joshua.
The Gypsy King, 30, has lifted the lid on the potential all-British fight - with the WBC giving a February 5 deadline to strike a deal.
On Friday, Hearn confirmed he was in the middle of talks regarding a Fury-Joshua showdown.
But now Fury has revealed a text conversation he shared with Hearn, which - according to the Sunday Times - went as follows:
Hearn: "Before we make our move, is it worth having a conversation about the fight?"
Fury: "I'm ready. How much?"
After failing to get a reply, Fury sent another text, saying: "Have you gone cold on me?"
Hearn: "No. I want to do things properly."
Fury: "Send me your offer in writing. How much?"
Meanwhile, Fury has revealed a major setback in his bid for a rematch with Deontay Wilder following the controversial draw on his comeback last year.
The Gypsy King recently messaged the American, saying: "Hey, Champ, hope Christmas and New Year went well. Let’s get the biggest fight in the world made as soon as we can.
"I’m ready when you are. April would be good.”
Fury then told the Times: “No reply. Not a good sign."
Elsewhere, Hearn recently revealed he expected to see Joshua fight Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller at Madison Square Garden, New York, this year.
