Frank Warren and the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) are to launch an official complaint over the scorecards in Tyson Fury's epic encounter with Deontay Wilder.
The Gypsy King was denied a win after a stunning display against the American - with the result eventually called a draw.
The judges delivered harsh scores of 115-111, 112-114 and 113-113, despite the Manchester bruiser impressively out-boxing the defending champion, who retained his WBC title.
One of the under-fire judges, Mexican Alejandro Rochin, scored the fight heavily in favour of the Bronze Bomber even though he was seemingly dominated in all but two rounds.
Along with the rest of the boxing world, Fury himself said everyone knew he should have been crowned the victor.
Now, his promoter Frank Warren has revealed he and the BBBoC are to launch an official complaint.
He said: “I’ve spoken to Charlie Giles, president of the British Boxing Board of Control and they, along with us, will be writing to the WBC asking that they look at what’s gone on there and to order the rematch.
“The Mexican judge got it wrong. I genuinely feel sorry for Tyson. He’s been robbed and it wasn’t right.”
The judges verdict hasn't just caused outrage with fans but also with several former fighters.
Frank Bruno labelled the decision "Daylight robbery" on social media.
While Floyd Mayweather Jr left the LA Staples Centre "disgusted" by the outcome.
And Fury, 30, has made no secret of his disappointment with the result.
He said: "I’m very happy with the fight, but put it this way, if I didn’t get knocked down twice in that fight, on one of the judge’s scorecards I’d have still lost, so he needs banning from boxing forever because he clearly can’t judge.
"Rochin, you need sacking, or to go to Specsavers, mate. Even without the knockdowns he still had me losing the fight.
“I’ve never seen a worse decision in my life. I don’t know what fight those judges were watching; the guy who gave it 115-111, I don’t know what he was watching. It ain’t the first time this has happened.
“That’s as bad a decision as the first Lennox Lewis-Evander Holyfield fight (in 1999), but who am I to say anything? I’m just a fighter, I’m not the judges.
“You can’t take anything away from me or Wilder; we done our best. It’s stuff like this that gives boxing a bad name.”
Fury is now at the peak of his popularity following his efforts in Los Angeles.
And boxing fans are now excited to find out what's in store for the Gypsy King.
Anthony Joshua was reportedly set to fight the winner of the bout - but he has recently suggested he won't fight either by liking this tweet.
A rematch between Fury and Wilder is the most likely scenario - with both boxers keen for a repeat bout.
