Kell Brook blasts Brit rival Amir Khan as ‘little b****’ as talks continue over showdown amid weight-class dispute
Sheffield fighter Brook is desperate for chance to finally settle a score with Khan in the ring but is growing fed up at what he believes are games being played
KELL BROOK has launched in a blistering attackon Amir Khan as the British boxing rivals try to thrash out a deal to finally meet in the ring.
Brook is desperate to take on Khan in a showdown next year to settle once and for all the bragging rights over who is the better fighter.
But former IBF world champion Brook, 32, is growing increasingly frustrated at the demands Khan is making over what weight the bout would take place at.
report he also claims the Bolton fighter is trying to muddy the waters over whether an agreement has been reached over how much weight they would be able to put on after taking to the scales.
Brook said: “Everybody in the world knows what it does to me to make 147lbs.
“He says that he sparred with me many years ago and he used one hand to destroy me. I’m a very, very easy opponent for him.
“He wants me to do 147lbs, he wants me to only put 10lbs on, even though there’s no world title on the line, there’s no IBF belt on the line.”
“Listen, bottom line, he’s a f***y hole, he’s a little b**ch.
“He’s gonna have to take the fight because everyone’s looking at him now and thinking: ‘What are you talking about?’
“He’s making things up, saying I agreed on the 10lbs thing. Why would I agree on that? It’s a joke. He is a joke.
“I’m the welterweight king in Britain, so don’t claim that you are unless you get in there with me.”
Promoter Eddie Hearn is attempting to thrash out a deal with the two boxers for them to meet in 2019 – in what would be one of the biggest domestic clashes of the year.
But Khan has also been trying to call out former sparring partner Manny Pacquiao for a big-money fight next year as he looks to keep his options open.
