AMIR KHAN continued his comeback with a clash against Samuel Vargas in Birmingham.
The former unified light-welterweight world champion is looking at setting up another title shot after returning from a two-year absence.

It didn’t all go the Bolton fighters way, who scored two knockdowns but will face questions over his famous chin after being flattened in the second round.
The Arena was shocked into near silence as a big right-hook toppled Khan right on the bell, with Vargas exploiting what has been an inffamous weakness in the Khan defence.
Despite the setback, it was a good response from Khan who showed glimpses of the speed and power that he possessed in his hey-day, out-boxing the Colombian with swift combinations and classy footwork.
And he got crucial rounds under his belt, going the distance and taking the bout 119-108, 119-109, 118-110.
