But he looked a shadow of his mischievous self before his war with Takam, until a thrilling shot flattened the Frenchman in round eight at the O2.

And Del Boy revealed he is a reformed bad boy after finding religion and giving up the booze.

Chisora, 34, said: “I am born again. I spent my whole time in the build-up to this fight going to church and I have done a complete 360-degree turn on my life. The things I used to do before, I don’t do any more.

“I don’t drink and I stopped doing a lot of the things I used to do. I think, when you find God, you can change a lot of things in your life.”

Whyte’s win over Joseph Parker catapulted the Londoner into world-title contention.

But Chisora has unfinished business with Whyte after their 2016 clash went against him.

Promoter Eddie Hearn said: “I’d love to do the Chisora v Whyte rematch, it would be an absolute war.”
