Amir Khan buries the hatchet with Eddie Hearn as he announces return to boxing on April 21
The 31-year-old signed a shock three-fight deal with Hearn's promotion firm Matchroom - after the Bolton ace said he "does not like" Hearn - but the pair have gotten down to business
AMIR KHAN has ended his feud with Eddie Hearn and agreed a bout at Liverpool's Echo Arena on April 21.
The 31-year-old has signed a sensational three-fight deal with Matchroom, after he admitted he "doesn't like" Hearn last year, but now the pair have made up.
Khan has not fought since his devastating sixth-round KO defeat to Canelo Alvarez back in May 2016 - and after a stint in the jungle the Bolton boxer is ready to return to the ring.
Khan held a press conference in London today where he outlined the finer details of his working relationship with Hearn.
Famously, before the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather fight, Khan spoke of his dislike for Hearn.
He said last year: "The only way I would take that Brook fight is if he left Eddie Hearn. I just don't like Eddie Hearn."
But the pair appeared to have buried the hatchet as “King Khan” sets out his path back to challenging for world titles with three bouts before the end of the year.
Khan said: “It’s great to be here, we have decided to put everything behind us now.
“This is where I belong, The UK. It’s time to win titles again.
“It’s great to be back with sky, I had some of my best times with them.
“I’m really excited for the next couple of years. I’m feeling fit and strong and I can’t wait to get back in the ring.”
