DAVID HAYE has posted footage of him back training - despite having one arm in a sling.

'The Hayemaker' has vowed to be back "firing on all cylinders" after a freak bicep injury forced his fight with Tony Bellew to be postponed until next year.

Haye, 37, was doing a conditioning session at home when he slipped and ripped his bicep as he grabbed a banister.

The London fighter posted an edited video of him working out in the gym, which included one clip of him punching and another of him cycling.

Addressing his fans, Haye said: "Hi guys. I'm sure you're already aware that my much-anticipated rematch with Tony Bellew on 17th of December has been postponed.

"I've got an injury on my left bicep which I've had a procedure to repair a couple of days ago.

"The doctors and my physio are very happy with how it went and I'll be back firing on all cylinders in a couple of months.

"Another big sorry to everybody. This sport throws curve balls at us from time to time but I will be back.

"Thank you and a big shout out to all of the amazing support people have been sending my way - it means a lot that you guys have my back.

"It's been a very challenging year for me but 2018 is where it's all going to happen.

"I'll be working through my Christmas, but I'll see you next year."

'DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH' Tony Bellew not confident David Haye rematch will happen

The rematch is now expected to take place in either March of May next year.

However, 'Bomber' Bellew has piled the pressure on Haye over his fitness.

And the Liverpudlian says he may not have the patience to wait for Haye's body to heal.

He said: "I am looking at a postponement and getting it on in the first couple of weeks in March. But can David be ready? Can he be trusted?

"This is the fourth fight that David has pulled out of in his last eight scheduled bouts. Once against Wladimir Klitschko, two against Tyson Fury and now me.

"He has torn some serious muscle groups in his body. Both biceps, his Achilles, his hamstring - what is going to go next?

"I'm not too sure I can wait around for this to happen again."
