Boxing star Amir Khan offers to pay for life-saving treatment for seven-year-old boy suffering from facial tumour
British fighter comes to the aid of Ali Hassan after youngster was diagnosed with Neurblastoma cancer
BRITISH boxer Amir Khan has offered to pay for life-saving treatment for a seven-year-old’s battling with a tumour on his face.
Pakistan youngster Ali Hassan, from Pakpattan, has an enormous tumour that has spread, affecting his mouth, nose and eye.
He was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer early this year and he had to have his right eye removed in order to save his life.
However, his face began to swell just weeks after surgery and it has resulted in the giant tumour.
But his parents now hope he can live a normal life after Khan’s amazing gesture.
Ali's father Muhammad Mansha said: "Amir Khan assured us of all sort of financial help. He told me that he will also visit us.

"In January this year, a surgery was performed by doctors, removing Ali's right eye.
"But only weeks after the surgery, his face started swelling and resulted into a huge tumour."
Anwer Ahmed, Khan’s manager, has confirmed the youngster will undergo treatment as soon as possible.
He said: "I am regularly visiting the boy in the hospital on direction of Amir Khan.
"We are waiting for medical reports. If his treatment is not possible here or in any other hospital in Pakistan, we will take him to any foreign country where medical facilities are much better and advance.
"Amir Khan has told me to be with the family and keep him updated."
