RICKY HATTON has revealed the secret to his amazing seven-week body transformation ahead of his return to the squared circle against Marco Antonio Barrera.
The boxing legend, 43, will contest an eight-round exhibition fight on July 2.
The Hitman, who famously ballooned up between fights, has ditched the booze, junk food and 12 cups of tea a day - sticking to a strict diet.
Hatton has lost over two stone in seven weeks as a result.
Speaking on his diet ahead of the fight, Hatton told : "I like pints of beer, it has been well known, but you can't do that. I think that is the main thing with the weight.
"If you go out and have pints seven days a week you won't be walking around with a six pack.

"I think it is just sensible, eating the right things small and often and regular workouts.
"Some days I have thought 'can I have a rest day?' and then I have thought I will take my foot down on the pace and go for a run to keep a sweat on.
"I do two workouts a day so my metabolism is always racing. Cut it down on treats, I have 12 cups of tea a day normally but it has to just be a one-off.
"I think the best thing is the willpower, and a nutritionist is only good as the lad that advises him and I think it is all down to your own personal discipline."

WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has expressed his pride in Hatton for his weight loss.
Fury, 33, posted on Instagram: "Get up there my boy!
"Very proud of @rickyhitmanhatton for loosing (sic) all the weight and getting fit again."
Hatton was also able to spar with his son Campbell, 21, as a part of his training camp.
Sharing two pictures of the family sparring session, the beaming dad wrote: "Very emotional day for me as a father today.
"Couldn’t be prouder of @campbellhatton anyway as everyone knows...
"But I never thought I’d see him turn pro and I especially never thought I’d be in a training camp sparring with him.
"Had many proud times over the years... that was up there."
