CONOR BENN defeated Ross Jameson on points to extend his undefeated record to five fights.
Jameson, 27, proved a game opponent as the six-rounder went the distance at the Manchester Arena, with Benn taking it 60-55 on the ref’s scorecard.
The Destroyer, who turns 20 on Wednesday, said: “I started getting gassed in the last round but you learn from it.
“I'm going to get caught but that's part of the job — learning how to deal with those when they get thrown and come back with better.
"If I fight how I spar behind closed doors you would see a different fighter, but it's a different thing learning how to perform in front of a crowd like this.
