Amir Khan and Kell Brook in talks over finally fighting at O2 Arena in 2020 after delays put end to Wembley showdown

EDDIE HEARN wants Amir Khan and Kell Brook to finally settle the score next year, at the O2 Arena in London.

The Brit rivals have circled each other for much of their careers but failed to agree a deal to fight each other.

Hearn thought he had the fight nailed down after signing Khan in 2017.

Only for the Boton hero to have two tune up wins before snubbing Brook for a WBO title fight against welterweight champion Terence Crawford in April.

The promoter admitted the domestic clash no longer warrants a night under the Wembley Stadium lights, but is optimistic the clash is still there to be made.

Hearn told iFL TV: “Next week. We’ve been speaking to him non-stop.

“We’ll have to see.

“It does work in a stadium, it’s not Wembley anymore, but it sells out, 30,000-40,000.

“Of course it does, I’m promoting it. I like it at Manchester, I like it at the O2 to be honest with you.

“We’ve been talking about it for years.”

Hearn plans to have the former world champions both box in December, before setting up the blockbuster showdown early next year.

Brook has not fought since a lacklustre points win over Michael Zerafa - who has since beaten ex-welterweight champion Jeff Horn.

And Khan bounced back from his TKO loss to Crawford by beating former super-featherweight titleist Billy Dib in Saudi Arabia in July.
